Hi, I’m Sanne Breimer. I work in media for 15 years, as a journalist, program manager and editor-in-chief in the fields of radio, television and digital media. Since January 2019 I’m working remotely in South East Asia. I’ve created an Instagram course on how to use the platform for ‘journalistic storytelling’ and I interview (articles and video) people in Asia about the topics of inclusion, (remote) entrepreneurship and innovation for platforms like SVDJ (Dutch Fund for Journalism Promotion), Magdalene (Indonesian feminist media), Draper Startup House, Joop.nl and Medium.

2016 – 2018 Head of Digital at Human, a public broadcaster that focuses on investigative journalism, philosophical programs and in-depth documentaries. Guiding a young ambitious team of 4 people.
2015 – 2016 Program manager at NPO Lab, the innovation lab of the Dutch Foundation for Public Broadcasting. Initiating collaborations across 10+ organisations and evaluating programme ideas for television, radio and digital with an allocated budget of approximately 1 million euro.
2005 – 2015 Different positions working at FunX, a radiostation focusing on a multicultural audience of 15-35-year-olds living in the urban areas of The Netherlands. I progressed through the organization from being a radio reporter, talk show host and program manager to becoming the editor-in-chief for six years. Managing about 40 people in total.
